This course will use computers and the internet to help you learn about different parts of life in the UK. We will use easy-to-understand websites, pictures, and videos to explore these topics together.
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
Recognise the layout of the keyboard
Recognise the Desktop and Microsoft Office.
Use the internet to look at pictures of different religious buildings and find simple information about different faiths in the UK
Look at websites and watch short videos about UK festivals and traditions and use calendars online to see when these days happen.
Use the internet to find information and pictures about UK sports and famous sports people.
Listen to short pieces of UK music and look at pictures of famous UK artists and their work online.
Use online maps and look at pictures of famous places in the UK that people like to visit.
