On this course you will learn about different types of food from around the world and how to make dishes from different countries. You will be able to take home the dishes you make in class. You will also receive a copy of the recipes so you can continue to practise any dishes you like at home for family and friends.
By the end of the course, I will be able to:
Name foods from around the world
Identify how to cook rice safely and correctly to get the right consistency.
Recognise various ingredients used in an Indian dish.
Learn how to make a Chinese dish using boiled noodles.
Learn how to make your own dough for the base of a pizza.
Learn how to prepare and season Turkish kebabs cooked in the oven.
Learn how to make good old English style fish and chips. You will learn how to make your own chips from fresh potatoes and oven bake them.
